A Tale of Two Closets in pictures

On the left we have befores, afters on the right. The change in this space is going to make a huge difference emotionally every time that closet door is opened! A great deal was donated to make this closet clean and functional, and this client was ready to make decisions.  Existing organizing trays and drawers, and even shoe boxes, were repurposed for what was left.  A lot of the storage in this closet is tucked to the sides behind the walls, so rarely accessed items were placed in that less valuable real estate, leaving easy access to the items most useful to the owner.

The kitchen - a lot can be accomplished in 1 session!

Junk drawers, catch all closets, office supplies.  So many items find a home in the kitchen, and if that is where you use them and look for them, that might be where they belong!  This client parted with many items that were no longer in use - cloth napkins, tired dish towels, complimentary address labels galore (we've all got those!), tidied what remained and will be able to find it all next time it is needed!  The areas no longer cause stress - some even make her smile!
Even utility areas feel better with a facelift.
